The Advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Khalid al-Faisal, at the Emirate's Office in the Holy Capital, witnessed the signing ceremony of the memorandums of understanding of Wadi Makkah Technology Company, owned by Um al-Qura University, with the Saudi Authority for Health Specialties and the Saudi Center for Patient Safety, with the aim of activating the "Abjad" training bag, and testing "maqn" to measure the efficiency of the Arabic language for health practitioners for other speakers, as part of the initiatives of the Mecca Cultural Forum under the slogan "How to set an example in the language of the Qur'an", in the presence of His Excellency the Rector, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Pavel. The agreements were signed by Wadi Makkah Technology Company ceo Dr. Faisal Allaf, with The Secretary General of the Saudi Authority for Health Specialties Dr. Ayman Abdo and The Director General of the Saudi Center for Patient Safety Dr. AbdulIlah Al-Hawsawi. The memorandums of understanding aim to activate the "Abjad" training bag, and a codified test to measure the efficiency of the Arabic language for non-Arabic-speaking health practitioners, of different nationalities and languages, to raise the level of the language of communication with patients, to avoid and minimize the medical damage resulting from the inability to communicate effectively with the patient, to the extent that it helps to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of medical services provided in health facilities, and in order to meet the concept of patient safety. The Emir of Makkah region also launched the "Read Language Scale Platform", designed by Wadi Makkah Technology Company, owned by Umm al-Qura University, to raise the level of Arabic proficiency. The project seeks to provide some 360 testing centers around the world, and is an electronic platform for conducting tests in a legal manner, which measures the level of proficiency of the Arabic language among other speakers for general purposes, and is designed in accordance with the standards and scientific foundations accepted in the field of measurement and evaluation globally, aimed at spreading the Arabic language as a measure and finding its competences.
