Wadi Makkah Knowledge Company signs a “Memorandum of Understanding” with UniMAP of Malaysia

On Monday, Shawwal 19, 1442 AH, Wadi Makkah Knowledge Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UniMAP of Malaysia (University Malaysia Perlis) to serve the global knowledge and to disseminate the Company’s knowledge products in the field of Arabic language, in addition to training materials for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. Wadi Makkah Company was represented by its CEO, Eng. Ameen Ali Yamany, while UniMAP was represented by its Vice President Prof. Muhammad Rizal Arshad, in the presence of HE the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wadi Makkah Knowledge Company, Dr. Adnan Al-Mazrou and HE Dean of the College of Applied Sciences and Humanities at UniMAP Prof. Halim Arefin and HE the President of the International Chamber of Commerce in Kuala Lumpur, Prof. Hashim Salih.

UniMAP is one of the four most prominent technical universities in Malaysia, as it seeks to graduate highly skilled engineers to contribute to national development and global industrial competitiveness. It also aspires to enhance and strengthen its educational excellence in cooperation with other parties in the field of academic and research cooperation.

This cooperation took place in view of the knowledge services and products based on scientific foundations and methodology provided by Wadi Makkah Company, one of the branches of the investment arms of Umm Al-Qura University, to achieve its objectives in building and enriching the knowledge society

The terms of the Agreement focus on several items, most notably training and development in various fields, including Hajj and Umrah, holding joint conferences, scientific research, providing social responsibility activities, and promoting Arabic knowledge materials issued by Wadi Makkah Knowledge Company in cooperation with Umm Al-Qura University, as well as cooperation in halal systems and standards, in addition to exchange of experiences, knowledge and technology in various fields of common interest.
